Forgot To Take Out Trash

I am pet sitting five dogs for a week. The other night, I forgot to set out the trash for curbside pickup, so the next day I had a friend of mine haul the trash away. As I was loading the trash in his truck, the neighbor came up and asked what we were doing, so I explained.

I have been really worried that this incident will reflect badly on me, or the neighbor will tell my clients that I had forgotten. I tend to worry about these things quite a bit.

Do you think it was okay to take away the trash as I did?

I would not worry about the incident. If the clients ask about it, just explain what happened, and it should it be fine.
